Wilkes-Barre, PA
Wilkes-Barre has 4 Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores, and 3 of them have Sunday hours on the state's list. The latest Monday-to-Saturday close is 10 PM, at the 2136 Wilkes-Barre Township Marketplace store. One store has no hours on the list at all, so call before you head there.
"Not listed" means the state's store list leaves that day blank. It doesn't mean the store is closed.

Where this comes from
- Since August 2016 there is no legal limit on Sunday or holiday hours for state stores. Before that, no more than a quarter of the stores could open on Sunday, and only from noon to 5 PM. The PLCB now decides when each store is open. (PLCB summary of Act 39 of 2016 (47 P.S. 1-102, 3-304), checked Oct 28, 2026)
- Liquor is sold at retail only in Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores, apart from what licensed distilleries sell. Wine is also sold in limited amounts by licensed private shops and by wineries. (PLCB budget hearing materials, FY 2024-25, checked Oct 28, 2026)
